Who am I? – Personal Side:

I am a husband and proud father of two.  I have a 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son.  I am an outdoorsman and avid kayak fisherman.  I am the director of a kayak fishing club.  I am also a musician and enjoy playing multiple instruments.

Why I became an Athletic Trainer:

I played sports as soon as I could walk and as I grew older, I noticed a void between the moment of injury and seeing the physician.  I appreciate the hands-on approach to athletic training and the ability to be present and observe the mechanism of injury.

How I can help the student athlete:

I can help the student athlete by acting as a liaison between the student athlete and the 3rd party (coaches, ADs, parents, physician, etc).  I am present when the injury occurs and have a first-person account to relay the information to the appropriate parties.
