Hamilton to hold Men’s Health Challenge at BWC

DALTON, Ga.– Free screenings, fitness challenges and prizes will be part of Hamilton Medical Center’s Men’s Health Challenge on Saturday, Aug. 11, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bradley Wellness Center (BWC). The event is free.

The screenings, worth more than $500, will include a glucose screening, cholesterol test, body fat percentage and prostate exam/presentation. Charles Idom, Jr, MD, will give the prostate presentation at 11 a.m. in the BWC classroom.

The fitness challenges will include a basketball free throw, football accuracy throw, BWC’s Group Ride, a golf fitness assessment and more.

All participants will receive a gift pack and opportunities to win a 32-inch flat screen TV, golf package, car detail, gift cards and more.

There will also be information on smoking cessation, stress management, financial stress relief and upcoming free screening and health events.
